Godparents and Wedding Bells!

So after having a few days to calm down from Dewey, Ben and I were able to get in a few workouts, and I was able to squeeze in a work trip to Alabama before our fun family weekend in Atlanta! On Friday night, Ben's best friend (and Tyler's Godfather) Ryan came to town to visit.
We had a great backyard bbq with Ryan, Amanda, Ben and I. Tyler was down by 8 and the weather was great, so we were able to hang out on the deck most of the night and just enjoy each other's company! Good times!
Saturday we met up with Ryan and Amanda and Ryan's brother for some bowling. Tyler had never been bowling before (obviously) and he LOVED the bowling balls. He also loved getting tossed in the air by his Uncle Ryan!
Sunday I had Book club with some of my favorite ladies and then we hosted Andy, Angela, Steph and Pat at our house for another cookout.
What a fun weekend here in "the ATL"!!!

The next week I was in a training for work most of the week, but our evenings were spent getting ready for the next week's travel!
Friday, Ben, Tyler and I headed up to Chapel Hill for Jill and Josh's wedding weekend!
Friday night we stayed with our friends Chris and Toni and met up with Erin, Monica and Christina for dinner at R&R Grill. We were thrilled to find out that Chris and Toni are expecting a baby early next year!!!
Saturday morning Ben and I were able to get a tour of the NC Basketball Museum during Tyler's morning nap. Toni and Chris offered to babysit, so Ben and I headed to the Dean Dome! We were both like kids in a candy store! The museum is pretty amazing. All of the National Championship Trophies, various rings, and player paraphernalia is all at your fingertips! I, of course, had to have my picture taken with my boyfriend, and Tyler's namesake, Tyler Hansborough!
After the museum, we headed up to Johanna's (my BFF and Tyler's godmother) house. Johanna and Steve were keeping Tyler for the night, and they had a blast with him! Johanna did such a great job taking care of Little Tman! She borrowed high chairs and exersaucers from various friends so she was well prepared. I can't thank her enough for taking such good care of him!
We fed and played with Tyler and said our goodbye's then headed to Ham's on Franklin St. to meet up with the wedding crew to watch the first game of the World Cup!
After a few beers we headed back to our hotel to get ready for the wedding.
The wedding was held at the Angus Barn in Durham. It was absolutely beautiful and the weather held out!
The food was excellent, the band rocked out, and the drinks were plentiful! Everything you could ask for in a kick ass wedding!
After the wedding, Ben and I met up with my good friends Chesare and Bobby at East End Martini Bar on Franklin St., then we headed over to La Rez to meet the rest of the wedding party.
We partied until the wee hours of the morning and had a great time!

Sunday, Ben and I picked up Tyler from Johanna's and headed to Spartanburg. Because I had a work meeting in Chapel Hill later that week, and Ben wanted to work in the BOA Greenville office, we decided to spend the week with my parents.
We arrived in Spartanburg exhausted after an amazing weekend!!!

Bachelorette Shenanigans!

Wow, I can't believe I've let my blog sit with no update for so long! Things have been absolutely crazy over the past month and we've have lots of adventures to update you all on!

Let's start with Memorial Day weekend! What a blast!!! I headed up to DC for my good friend Jill's bachelorette party in Dewey Beach!
The weekend started off with a fun lunch on Friday with my friend Amanda, then dinner and a little quality time with Ben and Tyler.
Saturday morning we were up bright and early! Ben dropped me off at the airport and then headed to Commerce, GA to meet my parents at the "half way" mark between Atlanta and Spartanburg. My parents asked if they could keep Tyler for a night during the Memorial Day weekend and Ben was easily persuaded with thoughts of extra sleep.
While Ben was catching up on his Zzzz's, I landed safely in DC. I rented a car and got to Dewey Beach just in time for Jam Session at one of our favorite bars Bottle and Cork. That night we got dolled up in Bachelorette gear and hit the town for our Good vs. Evil Superhero themed bachelorette night! We had a blast, and I partied like my "pre-mommy" days!
Sunday we were up and out the door early enough to hit up the Starboard (a.k.a the best bar EVER) for their famous Suicide Sunday which included my favorite Bloody Mary Bar in the world!
I had such a great time seeing my girls again and we definitely showed Dewey Beach that we can still party like rock stars..even in our 30's!
Monday I was back in Atlanta by noon, in time to spend the evening with my two favorite men!
What a great weekend!!!!
