Baby Boo update!!!

Today I had my monthly doctor's check up! My doctor said everything is fine and that things are progressing along nicely.
The doctor also used the fetal heart monitor so that I could hear Boo's heartbeat.
She said it was in the 140-150 range which is great!

I was concerned that the heart rate had dropped since my last sonogram but she said that was perfectly normal as the baby develops.
She said it will fluctuate a little in the early months of pregnancy and eventually stabilize!
On Friday I'll officially be 4 months along! I can't believe it!!!
Only 5 more months til I'm a Mommy and Ben's a Daddy!

Our next Baby Boo milestone is July 15th. Ben and I will find out the sex of our baby during my sonogram...given the baby cooperates!
We'll be sure to let you all know what the sex is as soon as we know!!!

PS- I found the above image under Google Pics and I thought it was too funny not to post!

It was another insane traveling week for the Sullivans! Unfortunately we had to spend them apart.
Monday and Tuesday I was in Denver for work. It was a lot of fun because I got to hang with Kera again. We went to an awesome restaurant in downtown Denver and I got to meet some more of her friends...good times all around!
Tuesday night I arrived home in time to go for date night with Ben to our favorite Indian place.
Wednesday I headed to the airport and arrived into Raleigh LATE. I was exhausted but glad that I was able to come home to ATL for a day!

I was in Raleigh Thursday and Friday for a work meeting. It was so fun! The theme of the meeting was Margaritaville and we had an awesome party Thursday night at the hotel. We danced and sang and gossiped about celebrities (RIP MJ and FF)!!! And it's always good to hang with my girls Chesare and Suzanne!

Friday after the meeting I flew into Knoxville, TN where I met Melissa and we headed to our cabin in Gatlinburg to meet the rest of the college crew for Jray's wedding weekend!!!
We had a blast!! Friday we hung at the cabin playing drinking board games (I stuck with fruit punch) and indulged in some hot tub time (again, I watched everyone, as hot tubs are also bad for Baby Boo).
Saturday we ventured into downtown Gatlinburg, which was an adventure in and of itself.
We saw some crazy people (case in point, an old man with underwear outside his pants...the back of the underwear said, "Follow me, I just farted a big one"...no joke) and had an awesome lunch! I would love to go back to Gatlinburg in a couple of years just to visit the sights and go to DOLLYWOOD!
Saturday evening we headed up to the mountain top wedding site. The wedding was beautiful and I couldn't be happier for Jray and Christie!
We danced the night away and ended the night back at the cabin!
Sunday I drove home from Gatlinburg with Andy and Angela and then Steph came over for some salad and girl gossip time!
Ben, on the other hand, spent the weekend in Vegas for our friend Judson's bachelor party! They had a GREAT time.
Friday night they went to the ESPN Zone for dinner and then had a couple of poker tournaments back at their suite (I was VERY jealous of their pimp daddy Venetian suite). Saturday they went to the pool and to another poker tourney. They ended the night with a trip to the Brazilian steakhouse and to Prive where they were ushered into the VIP area for bottle service. None other than Lil Jon served as DJ for the evening. Ben said he had a blast.
Sunday everyone parted after breakfast and Ben spent the rest of the day by the pool at "Bare" (our favorite pool party spot in Vegas). Ben took the red eye home on Sunday and got home around 6am Monday morning. He spent most of the day sleeping while I worked.
When he woke up around noon he surprised me with a new Dooney and Burke wallet he got in Vegas. I was SOOO Excited, I think the neighbors heard my scream!!!
It was a fun but exhausting week!!!

Blue Ridge Weekend!!

Crazy group photo!!!

Me, Steph and Amanda hanging on Friday night!

This weekend we had so much fun hanging with our friends at a beautiful cabin in Blue Ridge, GA! (Thaks to Steph M for organizing)
Friday, Amanda came over to hitch a ride and we all headed up to the mountains! The drive wasn't bad at all and we arrived right around 7pm.
We grilled out and lounged on the porch at our AMAZING cabin for the night! The views of the mountains were fantastic, and the game room was stocked with air hockey, pool, foosball and Wii.
Doesn't get much better than that! (PS- there was also a massive water balloon fight and pranks galore the whole weekend)
Saturday morning we cooked breakfast and got ready for our respective water trips.
Ben, Melissa, Steph, Pat, Aaron, Jackie and Drew all went White Water Rafting while Amanda, Me, and Baby Boo tubed down the Oconee River!
Both parties had a blast!!! Amanda and I basked in the sun for 3 hours and even hit some fun (but not too scary) rapids along the way.
We also met a couple of guys from Augusta who we watched rope swing!
The other group had apparently had a blast as well!!! They got flipped a few times and apparently had an awesome guide who showed them all kinds of tricks!
Saturday night our friend Grace came up for the night and I made Beer Can Chicken, and my mom's famous dressing, and Melissa brought her mom's mac and cheese which we warmed up in the oven! It was a comfort food kind of night!
After dinner, we had cake to celebrate Melissa and Chris's engagement and then spent the rest of the night hanging out in the hot tub, hammock, porch, and game room!!!
Sunday we hit the road early! I gave Ben a baby bjorn (since he looked so cute in it when we went to Charlotte) for Father's Day and bought him Taco Bell for lunch! It doesn't take much to make him happy! Around 5pm I headed for the airport to make a flight to Denver for work!
It was definitely a awesome weekend and I can't wait to go back next year...that is if Mom and Dad Heatherly agree to babysit for a weekend!!

It was such a fun week for the Sullivans as we headed to Charlotte for work and then to Hilton Head for a much needed vacay!
Last Sunday, Ben and I ventured up to Charlotte for a couple of days.
I had some work related stuff to do, and Ben tagged along to work in the BOA corporate headquarters for a few days.
Sunday we arrived in Charlotte and went straight to Rusty and Kristin's house.
They hosted a bbq for us and Matt and Suzie were there as well! It was so much fun!
We always have a great time hanging with our friends from our Chapel Hill days!
With Matt and Suzie's twins (Henry and Carson), and Rusty and Kristin's little boy (Connor)there were definitely BABIES GALORE!!! We decided that it was a good time to give Ben some practice at being daddy!!
Unfortunately Connor didn't take to Ben too well (reference pic above) but Carson loved being Ben's baby bjorn buddy!!!
We had a blast at the bbq and Rusty and I kicked some major booty in Cornhole!!! We make an awesome team, don't we Rusty?
Monday night in Charlotte we met up with Rusty for dinner and drinks, and Tuesday afternoon we met up with Sonny (another MBA friend) for lunch. I know I said it once, but I'll say it again...It was great to see so many of our Chapel Hill friends in the span of just a couple of days!!!
Tuesday Ben and I left Charlotte and headed down to Hilton Head for 5 days of rest and relaxation.
We stayed at the Player's Club condos with my parents and my sister and brother in law.
Most of the trip consisted of us vegging out on the beach, but we also managed to squeeze in some mini golf, a dolphin tour, a trip to Salty Dog Cafe, a fierce game of Cranium, and a lot of shopping (much to Ben's dismay)!!! We had so much fun and a big THANK YOU to my parents for hooking us up with a great place to stay!!! Love you guys!!!
Sidenote: Saturday night while out getting ice cream we randomly ran into our friends Andy and Angela who live in Atlanta with us. They had come down to visit Andy's brother and saw Ben and I through a window stuffing our faces with peanut butter ice cream...it doesn't get more random than that!!!
We headed home on Sunday both tan and rejuvenated!!!
It was a long 5 hour trip but we were glad to be home!

Congrats!!!

Congratulations to our good friends Melissa and Chris who just got engaged!!! Apparently Chris did a great job with the proposal from sending her flowers at work, to a meal that he prepared himself served on his deck! Dessert was the ring!

I can't wait to see her bling this weekend!

Congrats to a great couple!

Busy Days of Summer!!!

Another busy week in the Sullivan household....man oh man will I be ready for some rest on vacation next week!
Tuesday night Ben and I had a "mini" date night! We went to our usual pho place for dinner (I've gotten so many comments lately on my pho obsession...and yes, you are right...I'm a full fledged ADDICT) and then we went to see Angels and Demons. I liked it more than Ben did.
I think he didn't find it as suspenseful because he had already read the book. Fortunately, I've had alot of practice dealing with that after seeing the Harry Potter movies and Twilight so I think I was able to enjoy the movie for what it was! They changed some parts of the book but over all I give it one thumb up (but still not two).
Wednesday night we grilled out while I packed for my Denver trip.
Thursday morning I was up bright and early and on a plane to Denver for work and worked all day in Lakewood.
Thurday night I was able to hang with my girl Kera! It was great to see her! We met up with some of her friends for sushi (don't worry I only had a California roll) and then went to her book club meeting. It was a very fun night!
Friday after a long day at work, I was on a plane back to ATL.
I got home around 11pm to wake my "food coma induced" husband. Ben tried a new burger joint called The Counter that night and managed to put away a burger with the works, fries, onion straws, two beers, and a milkshake. Where he puts it I'll never know!
Saturday we were up early to run errands and shop for our upcoming beach vacation.
After stops at Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Target, Walmart, and Verizon we were beat and headed home.
I then baked my FIRST Key Lime Pie from scratch!
I must be in nesting mode because I baked the crust, filling, and cream topping and hand squeezed about 20 key limes!
Saturday night we headed over to Steph and Pats for dinner with Tim and Cassie.
We had met Tim and Cassie a number of times through Pat and Steph but it was great to get to know them better! Cassie and I are TV Soulmates so I'm sure we'll be hanging out more often!
We had kabobs and salad and then my Key lime pie for dessert! Thanks Steph and Pat for hosting a great night!!

Today Ben and I are packing up and heading out to Charlotte, NC!
I have to work in Charlotte for a couple of days and Ben's boss let him tag along to work in the BOA corporate offices.
Tuesday we head to Hilton Head for 4 days of beach fun with my family!
We will post pics when we get back!

Hope everyone had a great week!!!

More Boo Pics

Here are the latest Boo pics! I had my first trimester screen yesterday and they took a ton of pics! This child is already taking after it's mother, it's a total camera hog and tries to pose perfectly in every pic!
The doctor also made him/her flip around so that they could get pics of the back and top of the head! It was a really cool experience, and now it actually looks like there is a baby in there!

We find out the sex in 6 weeks! The countdown is on!!!

Good Food, Good Fun, Good Shopping!!!

Me and Steph at the Beer Fest
Steph, Melissa and me at the Beer Fest

Ray's on the River!

Ben and Pat at the Fest!!!

Ben and I had a very eventful week/weekend right here in ATL!!!
Last Tuesday night we went to our favorite Pho place with Steph and Pat and Wednesday we went over to hang with our friends Mike and Roberta for the evening! We had a great time and Roberta made an AWESOME meal!!!

Friday night was date night and Ben and I treated ourselves to a night of fine dining at Ray's on the River! Ray's is a gorgeous steak house right on the Chattahoochee River!
We had a gift certificate from Ben's parents from his birthday that we had yet to use, and man oh man did we chow down!
I had shrimp cocktail and twin Lobster tails. Ben had calamari and a fillet!
It was a beautiful night so after dinner we decided to go for a walk along the river.
We then came home and watched a movie and crashed!

Saturday I went for a long walk while Ben went for a jog on Riverside Trail!
Ben signed up for his first 10K on July 4th and I'm so excited for him! Me and Baby Boo will be at the sidelines cheering him on!
After our workout, we went to pick up Steph and Pat and headed to the East Atlanta Beer Fest.
It was a gorgeous day! We had a pretty good time at the fest! I was interested in the ice cream and grilled cheese sandwiches while Ben, Steph and Pat tried all the different beers. We also hung out with Melissa, Chris, Aaron and a bunch of kball people while we were there!

That afternoon, we left the fest and headed to Dunwoody Tavern where we met up with Grace, Amanda, and a bunch of their friends for dinner and drinks on the patio!
It was a definitely a fun but exhausting day!
Sunday I met Steph at her pool for some sun time, and then spent the rest of the day shopping with Amanda! I tried on LOTS of flowy maternity type stuff and I got a new DOONEY!!! It was a great way to end the weekend!!!
