It was such a fun week for the Sullivans as we headed to Charlotte for work and then to Hilton Head for a much needed vacay!
Last Sunday, Ben and I ventured up to Charlotte for a couple of days.
I had some work related stuff to do, and Ben tagged along to work in the BOA corporate headquarters for a few days.
Sunday we arrived in Charlotte and went straight to Rusty and Kristin's house.
They hosted a bbq for us and Matt and Suzie were there as well! It was so much fun!
We always have a great time hanging with our friends from our Chapel Hill days! With Matt and Suzie's twins (Henry and Carson), and Rusty and Kristin's little boy (Connor)there were definitely BABIES GALORE!!! We decided that it was a good time to give Ben some practice at being daddy!!
Unfortunately Connor didn't take to Ben too well (reference pic above) but Carson loved being Ben's baby bjorn buddy!!!
We had a blast at the bbq and Rusty and I kicked some major booty in Cornhole!!! We make an awesome team, don't we Rusty?
Monday night in Charlotte we met up with Rusty for dinner and drinks, and Tuesday afternoon we met up with Sonny (another MBA friend) for lunch. I know I said it once, but I'll say it again...It was great to see so many of our Chapel Hill friends in the span of just a couple of days!!!
Tuesday Ben and I left Charlotte and headed down to Hilton Head for 5 days of rest and relaxation.
We stayed at the Player's Club condos with my parents and my sister and brother in law.
Most of the trip consisted of us vegging out on the beach, but we also managed to squeeze in some mini golf, a dolphin tour, a trip to Salty Dog Cafe, a fierce game of Cranium, and a lot of shopping (much to Ben's dismay)!!! We had so much fun and a big THANK YOU to my parents for hooking us up with a great place to stay!!! Love you guys!!!
Sidenote: Saturday night while out getting ice cream we randomly ran into our friends Andy and Angela who live in Atlanta with us. They had come down to visit Andy's brother and saw Ben and I through a window stuffing our faces with peanut butter ice cream...it doesn't get more random than that!!!
We headed home on Sunday both tan and rejuvenated!!!
It was a long 5 hour trip but we were glad to be home!
