Birthday Parties Galore!

This weekend was lots of fun for the Sullivan clan. Friday night was Pho night...date night as a family. What can I say? We are Pho-a-holics.
Saturday morning we walked to to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, then Nana and Papa came to visit and brought lots of new toys for Tyler. They were happy to babysit so that Ben and I could sneak away and watch the Virginia Tech game at Hudson Grill with our good friend Roberta. It was a great victory for the Hokies...finally!
Saturday night Andy and Angela were trying out new recipes and watching football so Ben and I headed over. When my parents needed to get on the road, I headed home to play with Tyler and get him off to bed. Ben stayed and brought me home some yummy treats!
Sunday, was Waffle Sunday and even Tyler had one! It was a first for him and I think he liked them. I'm pretty good at making waffles if I do say so myself!
Sunday afternoon was spent going to the birthday party of our nanny's son Nico and our friend Emma and Mike's daughter Isabella.
It was a rainy and exhausting Sunday but lots of fun! Enjoy the pics!

Happy 9 Month Bday Tyler

Wow! I can't believe Tyler is 9 months old! My how the time has flown by! I know it sounds cliche but it's true.
Tyler had his 9 month check up today and he weighed in at 23lbs. 3 oz. He's such a big boy! He's in the 95th percentile for height, 86th percentile for weight, and (get ready for it) the 99th percentile for head circumference! I'm thinking we might nickname him "noggin"! Well, it might be big but it sure is a cute little head!
Other major milestones include learning to clap and eating big boy food!

Our week/weekend was a lot of fun. I had to go to Mobile, AL for work and Ben was super busy on a new deal but Friday night we had our friends Andy, Angela and Pat over for dinner. I made meatloaf and broccoli casserole.
Saturday, the Sullivan family walked to Dunkin Donuts for breakfast, which was surprisingly full of kids. Tyler had an afternoon bday party, where he enjoyed his first cupcake, and then Ben and I headed to Pho that evening for dinner with the Tman. While there, we randomly ran into our Pho buddy Pat. His wife Steph and little Dylan are in Florida for a few weeks, but we look forward to catching up with them soon!

Sunday morning we took a morning stroll in Roswell Park where we fed the ducks. Sunday afternoon was spent blowing bubbles in the front yard and riding the train at Northpoint Mall. Tyler had a blast! Enjoy the video!

Labor Day fun!

Happy Labor Day to you all! I can't believe that fall is upon us already. Fall is my FAVORITE season for many reasons...but mostly because of the cooler weather, changing leaves, football, and my birthday! Oh and Halloween...I love Halloween!

After our weekend in Dahlonega it was the start of another busy week. I had a short trip to Raleigh for work, but Thursday the whole family headed to Spartanburg for an early start our Labor Day weekend.
Thursday night we watched the Gamecocks play with my parents, sister, and brother in law after Tyler went to bed. Looks like it could be a great season for the Gamecocks! We have the best runningback in the country and he is already showing off some mad skills!

Friday I worked at the house and took care of Tyler while Ben was in the Greenville BOA office. My dad came home early and we picked up my mom from work. She happened to be working at my old high school that day, so it was cool that Tyler got to see Dorman High!!!
Friday night we said goodbye to Tyler. Ben and I drove to two hours to Winston Salem so that I could work on Saturday. Meanwhile, Tyler was with Nana and Papa for the whole weekend.
Saturday after work, we drove to Raleigh and spent the night with my BFF Johanna and her hubby Steve. We got in some pool time and I was introduced to Goodberry's ice cream...HELLO Custard deliciousness!!!
Sunday, Ben and I checked into the Franklin Hotel in Chapel Hill and met up with our MBA friends Matt & Suzie and Jim & Julie to attend the wedding of our good friend Carrie!
It was a beautiful wedding and the reception was a blast. We danced the night away!
Congrats to Carrie and Rob!!!
After the reception we hit up Franklin St and had a great time!
Monday, Ben and I were up and on the road early in order to get to Spartanburg by lunch. We missed Tyler so much while we were gone, but he was spoiled rotten by the grandparents of course. He went to a wine tasting festival downtown, church on Sunday morning, and to the Apple Farm on Sunday afternoon!
We all arrived safely home Monday afternoon and crashed.

Due to the craziness of Labor Day weekend, this past week and weekend was spent laying low. The Sullivan clan watched football, took walks around the neighborhood, had Mike and Roberta over for lasagna and Balderdash and bought Tyler "big boy" car seats.
Very chill weekend indeed!
