Me, Steph and Amanda hanging on Friday night!

This weekend we had so much fun hanging with our friends at a beautiful cabin in Blue Ridge, GA! (Thaks to Steph M for organizing)
Friday, Amanda came over to hitch a ride and we all headed up to the mountains! The drive wasn't bad at all and we arrived right around 7pm.
We grilled out and lounged on the porch at our AMAZING cabin for the night! The views of the mountains were fantastic, and the game room was stocked with air hockey, pool, foosball and Wii.
Doesn't get much better than that! (PS- there was also a massive water balloon fight and pranks galore the whole weekend)
Saturday morning we cooked breakfast and got ready for our respective water trips.
Ben, Melissa, Steph, Pat, Aaron, Jackie and Drew all went White Water Rafting while Amanda, Me, and Baby Boo tubed down the Oconee River!
Both parties had a blast!!! Amanda and I basked in the sun for 3 hours and even hit some fun (but not too scary) rapids along the way.
We also met a couple of guys from Augusta who we watched rope swing!
The other group had apparently had a blast as well!!! They got flipped a few times and apparently had an awesome guide who showed them all kinds of tricks!
Saturday night our friend Grace came up for the night and I made Beer Can Chicken, and my mom's famous dressing, and Melissa brought her mom's mac and cheese which we warmed up in the oven! It was a comfort food kind of night!
After dinner, we had cake to celebrate Melissa and Chris's engagement and then spent the rest of the night hanging out in the hot tub, hammock, porch, and game room!!!
Sunday we hit the road early! I gave Ben a baby bjorn (since he looked so cute in it when we went to Charlotte) for Father's Day and bought him Taco Bell for lunch! It doesn't take much to make him happy! Around 5pm I headed for the airport to make a flight to Denver for work!
It was definitely a awesome weekend and I can't wait to go back next year...that is if Mom and Dad Heatherly agree to babysit for a weekend!!
