Happy Labor Day to you all! I can't believe that fall is upon us already. Fall is my FAVORITE season for many reasons...but mostly because of the cooler weather, changing leaves, football, and my birthday! Oh and Halloween...I love Halloween!
After our weekend in Dahlonega it was the start of another busy week. I had a short trip to Raleigh for work, but Thursday the whole family headed to Spartanburg for an early start our Labor Day weekend.
Thursday night we watched the Gamecocks play with my parents, sister, and brother in law after Tyler went to bed. Looks like it could be a great season for the Gamecocks! We have the best runningback in the country and he is already showing off some mad skills!
Friday I worked at the house and took care of Tyler while Ben was in the Greenville BOA office. My dad came home early and we picked up my mom from work. She happened to be working at my old high school that day, so it was cool that Tyler got to see Dorman High!!!
Friday night we said goodbye to Tyler. Ben and I drove to two hours to Winston Salem so that I could work on Saturday. Meanwhile, Tyler was with Nana and Papa for the whole weekend.
Saturday after work, we drove to Raleigh and spent the night with my BFF Johanna and her hubby Steve. We got in some pool time and I was introduced to Goodberry's ice cream...HELLO Custard deliciousness!!!
Sunday, Ben and I checked into the Franklin Hotel in Chapel Hill and met up with our MBA friends Matt & Suzie and Jim & Julie to attend the wedding of our good friend Carrie!
It was a beautiful wedding and the reception was a blast. We danced the night away!
Congrats to Carrie and Rob!!!
After the reception we hit up Franklin St and had a great time!
Monday, Ben and I were up and on the road early in order to get to Spartanburg by lunch. We missed Tyler so much while we were gone, but he was spoiled rotten by the grandparents of course. He went to a wine tasting festival downtown, church on Sunday morning, and to the Apple Farm on Sunday afternoon!
We all arrived safely home Monday afternoon and crashed.
Due to the craziness of Labor Day weekend, this past week and weekend was spent laying low. The Sullivan clan watched football, took walks around the neighborhood, had Mike and Roberta over for lasagna and Balderdash and bought Tyler "big boy" car seats.
Very chill weekend indeed!
