We Wish You a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Well better late than never...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all!!!
We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year this year! After the craziness of Tyler's First Birthday wore off, things were in full swing for the holidays! Grandma Sullivan arrived into town on Tuesday afternoon (December 21st) to celebrate the holidays with us! She got to spend some quality time with Tyler while I finished up all of my work related stuff. Grandpa Sullivan and Aunt Kate arrived the evening of December 23rd. Christmas Eve included some shopping, a trip to the park, and a huge Christmas Eve dinner complete with Turkey, Dressing, Mashed Potatoes, Broccoli Casserole, Bread, Corn and Cranberry Sauce! I worked in the kitchen most of the day and everything turned out quite delicious if I do say so myself! Christmas morning Tyler awoke to a room full of presents. Santa definitely came to visit this year. Some of his favorite toys were his Special Agent Oso Whirlybird Toy and his Radio Flyer Wagon. I cooked a big Christmas Breakfast and then Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Kate headed to the airport so that Ben, Tyler and I could drive up to Spartanburg. We arrived to Nana and Papa's around noon...just in time to open presents, eat steak and baked potatoes for lunch and watch the snow start to fall! It was a Beautiful White Christmas this year and we enjoyed every minute of it! We are so grateful we got to spend the holidays with both families this year!

The day after Christmas, Ben and I headed back to Atlanta and Tyler stayed at Nana and Papa's for two days. Aunt Kelly was there to help as well and Tyler had a Ball!!!
He was spoiled rotten of course. Meanwhile, Ben and I slept in, went out to dinner, watched some movies, and had a few cocktails in between. I love my little Tyler more than life itself but have to admit that it was a great couple of days of "grown up time"! Tuesday I picked up Tyler in Commerce (the halfway point between Spartanburg and ATL). But we had just a couple of days in between before Nana and Papa came back to ATL to babysit on New Year's Eve. Ben and I had a wonderful New Years as we celebrated the wedding of our good friends Roberta and Mike. It was a beautiful wedding and we got to ring in the New Year in style! What a great time!
New Years Day we headed home from the hotel in time to take Nana and Papa to lunch for Chicago Style Pizza. They loved it!
The rest of the day was spent hanging low with our little man and taking lots of Advil! Ben and I celebrated the new year a little too hard!

Happy Holidays to one and ALL. May 2011 be good to each and every one of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
