Hey There! Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was great! It was nice to have nothing on the books and do everything on the fly!
So glad we cancelled our Chattanooga trip...although I was looking forward to it, it was frigid this weekend and it would have been no fun.
No worries though, we rebooked it for St. Patty's weekend!
Friday night we did make your own pizza and watched Empire Strikes Back with Tyler. Seriously y'all, I have NO clue where this child's obsession with Star Wars came from. His teacher at school even asked us if we were big Star Wars junkies...I was like "Um, no!" (No offense to all the SW crazies out there).
Saturday morning, Tyler wanted to watch the rest of the movie at 7am...he was entranced and kept asking questions about Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and the Storm Troopers. He also now loves Chewbacca...that hairy thing kind of creeps me out.
Ben took Tyler to the playroom while he hit the gym and I stayed behind to do some laundry. After the gym, we headed to Home Depot for their monthly clinic. This month they made race cars and Tyler loved it.
Later, Tyler and I met up with Steph and Dylan for Lunch and then we hit Skyzone in Roswell. It's one heck of a crazy trampoline place, and the kids had a BLAST!!!
That night, Tyler and Ben had a boy's night so that I could go out with the girls. We went to Heavenly Foot Massage and had the best rub down...okay, wait that sounded completed perverted...but it was amazeballs!
Then we went out for sushi. Can you tell from the pic that we were in scrubalicious attire and were completely relaxed?
Sunday, we hung with the little man and ran a bunch of errands. Did a Pho family lunch and then I met Steph and Amanda for a movie in the afternoon....Safe Haven, don't see it. So stupid!
We ended the weekend with some quality Tyler and Mommy time while Ben made a gym run and then made us Pad Thai.
It was relaxing and fun...exactly like a weekend should be!
